This post is all about spring cocktails.
1. Blackberry Lemon Mint Spring Cocktails
What says spring more than blackberry, lemon, and mint?
Using Heirloom Bottling Co.’s Blackberry Lemon Mint Shrub, I mixed as directed in their online recipes with vodka.
It is honestly SO simple. It took under 5 minutes to make, and only two ingredients (plus ice). And the end result is really yummy and refreshing – perfect for that first warm spring evening.
Everything looks prettier in coupe stemware, right!? These I bought last year and are sadly sold out. đ
But I have my eye on these beauties that are new at Crate and Barrel that I would be really happy to own as well.
So, if you’re on the market for coupe stemware, check them out! Would love to know in the comments what you think of them!
For garnish, I used a wedge of lemon and a sprig of mint. The trick to having the mint stay on the side of the glass is to get it a little wet and then place where you’d like it. It may still slide around a bit, but this should at least get you to the point where you can serve it looking styled!
The green bamboo print placemat is a recent find. It’s actually paper! No, really! It is. I am kind of obsessed with these and cannot wait to order more of their prints.
To complete the look, I added a gold accent napkin holder with lemon napkins (similar), and a small bowl of – you guessed it – lemons!
This spring cocktail recipe would be perfect for dining al fresco on a warm spring evening. The flavor is fruity and refreshing, but not too sweet.
2. Pear Rosemary Spring Cocktails
This spring cocktail recipe is the perfect blend of savory and sweet.
I mixed vodka with Root 23’s Pear Rosemary simple syrup using the recipe on their website that calls for sparking water. It’s quick and SUPER easy to put together.
These tall glasses are some of my favorite Target finds of late (and that’s saying something because I order from Target multiple times weekly!).
Next, I garnished the cocktail with a sprig of rosemary and slice of pear.
Rosemary in cocktails instantly elevates the entire experience. The savory aroma and earthy texture truly make it an extra special boozy beverage.
To create the pear garnish, I simply sliced it down the middle, from stem to stem. To avoid unseemly seeds, I picked them out gently with a paring knife.
Attaching the pear to the glass is also easier than it may seem. Simply cut a little more than 1/2 way up the middle of your pear slice and slide it onto the side of the glass.
This cocktail tastes so fresh and crisp. The rosemary doesn’t overpower. You definitely get more pear notes, and then the nice aromatic light scent and flavor of rosemary.
This would make a wonderful afternoon event beverage, like for a bridal or baby shower. It’s not too heavy, and the fizz from the sparkling water gives it a effervescent, spritzer feel.
3. Strawberry Orange Mimosa
Of all the spring cocktails I made, this one might be my favorite.
Maybe it’s because the sweet, citrus flavor makes me feel like I’m pool side somewhere warm??? Yeah, that could have something to do with it. (wink)
To make a strawberry orange mimosa, you only need two ingredients plus garnish:
- Secco Strawberry & Raspberry Rossini (found at Trader Joe’s)
- Pulp-free orange juice
- Strawberries to garnish
I eye-balled the pour – about 2/3 Rossini to 1/3 orange juice.
Stemless champagne flutes were my stemware of choice for this delishious pink drink. My family uses this glassware all of the time – for beverages of all varieties. Our daughters even like using them for lemonade or sparkling water. They feel fancy at a great price point.
I added one strawberry to the rim of each flute as garnish. I tried to choose a medium-sized strawberry that had consistent color and minimal blemishes.
After washing, I sliced about 1/2 way down the center of the berry and slid it onto the glass.
While you could do without straws, these fun gold straws seemed to be just the right finishing touch for these spring cocktails.
4. Grapefruit Ginger Vanilla Spring Cocktails
This bourbon cocktail is the “spring transition” of cocktails. You’ve heard of spring transition outfits, right? Clothes that are not winter but also not quite summer?
Of all the spring cocktails I made, this one splits the seasons just like a jean jacket.
The sweet, refreshing grapefruit makes it feel spring-y – and the hope of the new season to come. But the hints of ginger and vanilla – subtle as they are – are gentle little reminders of crisp, cool days.
I mixed this cocktail using Heirloom Bottling Co’s Grapefruit Ginger Vanilla Shrub, according to their online recipe. Since I used bourbon, I opted to serve it up in vintage gold rimmed glasses.
To bring out the grapefruit even further, I opted for a triangle wedge of grapefruit and a spring of rosemary.
Without the rosemary, the beverage is a little underwhelming in appearance. It needed some greenery for visual affect.
I would definitely consider this a sipping drink. It is quite strong and heavier than any of the other spring cocktails mentioned in this post. I would recommend serving it as a post-dinner cocktail.
5. Cherry Almond Spring Cocktails
I love the bright, cheeriness of this cherry almond cocktail. Mixed with Root 23’s Cherry Almond simple syrup, I used vodka according to their online recipe.
Like all of the other spring cocktails in this post, this is literally SO easy. It requires only a couple of ingredients and almost no time at all to create an impressive drink you can be proud to serve.
Using the little sister size glasses to the tall glasses mentioned above, I served this cocktail on the rocks with a twist of lemon.
Citrus twists do take a few minutes to make. But you can do it with just a paring knife – no extra gadget required. This is a really helpful tutorial for how to make them step-by-step.
Like the other fruity, fizzy cocktails on this post, these would be absolutely perfect for bridal showers, baby showers, Mother’s Day, or Easter celebrations. They are sweet to drink and bright and happy to look at.
As a side, that beautiful milky glass cake stand is new at Anthropologie. I found it this weekend and am really happy to have it in my collection for serving small cheese plates as above or for little desserts. It’s a unique shape but a neutral color, so it will go with a ton of different event palettes and themes. Definitely a conversation piece!

I hope this gave you ideas and inspiration to mix your own spring cocktails. Please leave a comment and let me know if you try any of these cocktails. Would love to know your thoughts!
Cheers!
