This post is all about modern dining table decor.
1. French Flax Linen Napkins
The wide stripe on this linen napkin ads some visual interest without being busy. I like the idea of incorporating some pattern but staying true to a neutral color palette. These napkins are effortlessly beautiful and would pair easily with just about any table decor!
2. Seagrass Baskets
Seagrass baskets are a great modern solution for displaying necessities at a party. Use them to corral napkin-rolled cutlery on a buffet, hold party favors, or display florals in a centerpiece. The options are endless!
3. Ivory Matte Stoneware
I have looked everywhere for ivory matte stoneware that has a coupe rim in an organic shape. And here they are! The artisan aesthetic of these dishes gives them a beautiful simplistic richness.
4. Raw Wood Napkin Rings
Neutral napkin rings like this raw wood set are a great investment for your modern dining table decor. They are the ones you will reach for over and over again since they go with literally any color palette. I can’t wait to own these and use them all. summer. long.
5. Dried Palm Leaves
Dried palm leaves are a great summer option in the world of dried florals. I can see using these in a rattan vase as a centerpiece. Or you could place them in a floor vase and use them to mark the entrance of a party – in lieu of balloons.
6. Alabaster Candle Holder
Natural stone table decor of any kind is on my wish list. At the top is alabaster. The warm tone that this alabaster holder would give off with a lit candle inside would be absolutely incredible!
7. Root Wood Dish
The material of this little dish is just so cool! It’s literally made from a reclaimed tree root. It comes in three sizes, and this smaller one would be perfect on a cheese board for serving dry ingredients, like nuts.
8. Putty Stoneware Pitcher
Definitely not your average pitcher. The unique shape combined with the earthy nature of the stoneware makes it feel old and new all at once. You could turn this into a centerpiece vase or use as intended to serve a beverage in style.
9. Fluted Ceramic Vase
This vase would be a great addition to any table. I think it can transcend many different styles. The ceramic material and fluted detail give it plenty of interest, but yet it’s still simplistic enough to be used over-and-over without tiring of it.
10. Seagrass Woven Placemats
You really cannot go wrong with neutral table linens. While these are neutral, they are far from boring. Tons of texture here between the woven material, subtle stripe, and fringe.
11. Wood Bead Garland
For an easy, no-fail centerpiece, add a strand of these wood beads to a pretty bowl. Viola!
12. Macrame Tablerunner
This stylish creamy macrame table runner with black geometric details and fringe is an easy everyday linen. It has a relaxed vibe with lots of personality. Plus, it comes in three sizes, so you can choose the one that best fits your table.
13. Brass Salad Servers
I love when objects have a patina – an aged look that makes them seem as though they’ve been around forever. These hand-forged brass salad servers give off that vibe to me. I think they would be gorgeous against the backdrop of a stoneware serving bowl.
14. Rattan Cheese Knives
Rattan cheese knives are definitely on my wish list for summer of 2021. How fun would these be for an al fresco cheeseboard night!?
15. Salt & Pepper Shakers
Sometimes a meal calls for salt and pepper shakers to be part of the tablescape. The neutral tones in the horn finish of these shakers will easily blend with many different table top color palettes.
16. Olive Wood Cheese Board
Can you ever have too many cheeseboards? I think not! I’m obsessed with the organic shape of this olive wood cheeseboard. It’s unique and yet understated. The board is offered in a few different lengths, but I think this 14″ one is the perfect size to serve a charcuterie meal for two!
17. Minimalist Ceramic Vase
Even sans flowers, this unglazed ceramic vase is perfection. Just pop it on a table, and call your tablescape centerpiece feature done!
18. Wood Soup Spoons
I love the idea of using wood cutlery for soup or stew! The detail on the handles of this set provides a lot of texture and visual interest.
19. Flax Linen Table Runner
Back to linen. Timeless and elegant. I think this rustic orange hue of this French linen table runner is an unexpected neutral (kind of like terra cotta), but it also comes in a taupe if that appeals to you more. Additionally, it’s offered in two sizes so you can pick the best fit for your home!
20. Copper Tea Light Bowls
The warm tone of copper makes my heart happy. I have been adding bits of it to my kitchen over the past year or so, and I think this set of three copper tea light bowls would be an amazing addition to our table. With a lit candle, they would throw around some crazy good low light!
21. Teakwood Serving Bowls
As with cheese boards, the more the merrier with serving bowls. This set of two teakwood bowls are on the smaller side, perfect for snacks and appetizers.
22. Stoneware Berry Basket
Serve fruit at your next brunch table in a ceramic berry basket for an unexpected twist on a serving bowl!
23. Slate Tiered Server
Why have just a cheese board when you can have a cheese tower!? You could use this slate and wood tiered serving piece for appetizers, dessert, and, yes, even charcuterie. I love serving dishes that add height variety to a buffet or tablescape. This definitely does just that!
24. Asymmetrical Candle Holder
If this isn’t a conversation starter, then I don’t know what is!? There is so much to look at here. It can be configured multiple ways – move the wooden ball to one side, keep in the middle, and add a taper candle or not. And it can transition seamlessly from table decor to elsewhere in your home.
25. Stoneware Footed Bowl
If you’re looking to get into stoneware but aren’t ready to buy a dinnerware set, this is a great starter option. The shape is glorious, and the glazed texture is neutral and yet interesting to look at (a common theme in this post!).
26. Handle-less Ceramic Mugs
I am on the hunt for handle-less coffee mugs. These are at the top of my list. They come in several sizes, but for a coffee-with-dessert situation I think the cortado or latte size would be just the thing!
27. Mango Live Edge Tray
If you’re on the market for an extra large serving tray, this 24″ live edge tray could be the one! The more traditional copper handles juxtaposed with the rustic nature of the tray material gives the overall look a modern aesthetic.
28. Rattan Serving Utensils
And we’re back with more rattan – and I’m not sad about it one bit! These would be absolute perfection to serve a summer salad.
