As a mom to three daughters (currently ages 7, 13, and 17), I know how hard it can be to buy for teenagers. This list was approved by my seventeen year old. Her exact words (and grammar lol) when I text the gift guide collage to her were: “i love it! everything is so cute!” Many of the things my girls already have and absolutely recommend – and some are on their wish lists for this year. I hope these teen girl Christmas gift ideas will make your holiday shopping a little easier and that you get the “i love it! everything is so cute!” feedback too on Christmas morning. 🙂

Gift Ideas for Teen Girls
To make this collage a little easier to shop, I’m breaking down these gift ideas into three sections – clothes, beauty, and accessories. This is just the start of my ideas for teen girl gifts. For an even bigger list of gift ideas, you can check out my LTK where I will be adding as I find things throughout the season. (I also have gift guides for little girls, him, her, and more, in case you’re interested.)
Clothes
Honestly, the brands my girls go back to over and over for clothes are American Eagle and Aerie – they offer the styles they want at reasonable prices. Also, they are size-inclusive, which is awesome because I have both a tall and petite teen. And as a mom, I love that they are all about positive body image.
Most of the time, my girls want to be comfy so sweatshirts, pull overs, leggings, and joggers are what they tend to live in. If your teen is similar, then they will probably love getting these leggings. My girls’ favorites are the high-waisted. Then, for joggers, we’re loving these fleece-lined and waffle styles for winter. They would go perfectly with these platform slippers, which are a great look for less option.
When my girls dress up, most of the time these days they want to wear jeans and a sweater with sneakers. AE jeans (as well as Abercrombie) are their faves. The sweaters they have that get the most use are neutral and on the thinner side, so we thought this one was a good option for the gift guide. For jeans, they are loving high waisted wide leg styles. Then, for sneakers, my 13 year old cannot get enough of Nike Dunks. They have so many fun colors as well as neutrals, but we’re loving this pastel pair.
Beauty
When it comes to beauty, my teen girls get their practicality honestly. I brought them up to be very selective in what they invest a lot of money in. They are all about high and low finds. At Christmas, we tend to treat them to some higher-end makeup, skin, and hair care. However, they definitely mix these with E.L.F. and other drug store brands on a day-to-day basis. (I linked several of their E.L.F. faves on LTK, which would make excellent stocking stuffers.)
For perfume, the fragrance they want is currently Glossier. This set makes a nice gift under $100. Other favorite make-up teen girl Christmas gift ideas include the cult favorite Rare Beauty liquid blush (we like the mini size in the color Hope – it lasts forever), Summer Fridays lip gloss, and anything from Sol De Janeiro.
Then, for hot tools, I fell in love with the brand l’ange last Christmas when shopping for my teens because it was founded by another girl mom. We have the deep waver currently (it beeps when you should move to the next section – brilliant!) – but I know the styler (it curls, waves, and straightens) and brush dryer would be welcomed gifts under the tree.
Lastly, as a viral hair care product, this heatless curling set is a fan favorite in our house. My teens have so much fun using their sets. It’s a great price point under $20.
Accessories
You cannot go wrong with a Lululemon belt bag, and this fuzzy one is so perfect for the winter. We’re also loving Owala water bottles – and how cute are these personalized name plates that fit on top of them?
Bows are having a moment across fashion and home decor, and this bow ring and bow claw clip would be so cute as stocking stuffers or paired with a fit. Same with these socks and hair bow – how absolutely adorable are they!?
For other jewelry, checkerboard is still trending, and this ring that comes in both gold and silver is a fun yet subtle way to wear it. And an initial necklace is always a safe bet gift for teens (or mom, sister, or best friend for that matter).
Lastly, as a “good things come in small packages” gift, Air Pods and a cute case would be an excellent little “big” gift for teen girls.
