If you’re hosting Thanksgiving or any dinner event in the fall, I hope this tablescape helps inspire you to create a special space for your friends and family to gather. With this fall table decor, I decided to have hints of the season and not as many literal references. The combination of rich gold velvet, chocolate brown linen, rattan, and rustic ceramics, gives autumn – with a few tiny pumpkins and dried florals thrown in to really bring home the season. Keep scrolling for more details on the centerpiece, place setting, and links to shop so you can recreate this look in your own home.
NOTE: If you do recreate this look, PLEASE be sure there is plenty of space between the dried flowers and candles to be safe.

This post is all about fall table.
Fall Table Centerpiece

The base of this fall tablescape is a gold velvet table runner. It comes in a generous length, so it would work on a lot of different size tables.
Then, in the center of the centerpiece, I arranged dried baby’s breath in a textured ceramic vase. To get this look, I used about two bunches of flowers and broke each stem down into smaller stems, which gave it a full and fluffy effect.
On either side of the floral arrangement, I placed three taper candle holders. Conveniently, they come in a set of 6. I like the minimalist profile and that they are a variety of heights.
Lastly, I used burgundy taper candles to complete the centerpiece.
Again, please be sure you have enough space between the candles and dried flowers to be safe and never leave lit candles unattended.
Fall Table Place Settings

Woven placemats are the start of this fall table decor place settings. I like the open weave on these and the material contrast with the velvet table runner.
For plates, I used my everyday dishes – dinner plates and salad plates. They are super versatile and work for just about any holiday or special occasion. On either side of the plates, I used gold flatware, which I’ve had for a long time. The weight is so nice, and the shape is modern and unique.
On top of each plate, I placed a linen blend napkin in a pretty chocolate brown with a gold napkin ring. The napkins come as a set of 10 at a reasonable price, making them great for serving a crowd.
Next, for glassware, I added these festive gold rimmed fluted wine glasses. They are so perfect for the holidays or any winter occasion.
Lastly, for place cards, I used these cute gold pumpkin place card holders. We’ve had these for many years and enjoy getting them out for fall tablescapes
