Fall Living Room Styling
These preserved burgundy eucalyptus stems smell amazing and instantly add a chic autumnal vibe to any space. Speaking of – scent can be another low-cost way to update your space for the season, and this amber glass candle is perfect for that. I love that it smells earthy and not too sweet. Plus, the jar it comes in looks artisanal and high-end. Lastly, it doesn’t get much better than a plush faux fur throw blanket for cool fall evenings. The ruching detail on this one is so good, and I love that the color is neutral but still has some depth.
Fall Living Room Accent Chair
My boucle swivel chair looks expensive – but it’s not! It’s actually from Walmart and is under $300. We’ve had it for about a year, and I still love the aesthetic it brings to the space. The area rug is many years old but still going strong. It’s the one I recommend to my friends looking for a good neutral yet interesting rug that is durable for a house with kids and pets. A small wood pedestal side table with clean lines was the perfect backdrop for this dramatic pleated lamp moment. The side table was a TJ Maxx find (similar), and this lamp is a piece of art – worth the investment. Lastly, my 7′ olive tree fills this corner by the stairs perfectly and is surprisingly affordable for the size.
Fall Living Room Coffee Table Decor
Coffee tables are a fun space to remix your decor seasonally. It’s amazing how a few simple changes can instantly make the entire living room feel updated. For fall, I updated my marble coffee table (similar) by mixing earth-tone decor in a variety of textures and finishes. To start, I placed the burgundy dried eucalyptus in a rustic pottery jug. Next to it, I placed a scalloped round bowl. Ruffles and scallops are trending, and I love the softness those sculptural shapes add to a vignette. Lastly, I stacked a couple of my favorite coffee table books – both with linen-textured covers – and topped them with an amber glass candle and brass wick trimmer (similar).
