This post is all about bridal shower favor ideas.
1. Designer or Personalized Stationery
Who doesn’t love pretty designer or personalized stationery? When it comes to bridal shower favor ideas, notepads and notebooks top the list. You really cannot go wrong!
Favor Packaging: I would wrap these individually in clear cellophane bags tied with a gold ribbon in a bow. Attach a thank you tag, and you’re good to go!
2. Stylish Matches
Is the happy couple a match made in heaven? Are sparks flying? Witty humor aside, matches are a bridal shower favor idea that will really strike your guests as different than what they usually receive. (Okay – I couldn’t help myself! lol)
Favor Packaging: Style your matches favors to distribute in cute boxes. Finish the look with a thank you sticker on front, and tie a bow with thin twine around the top.
3. Candles
Candles may not the most unique bridal shower favor idea, but they are a solid choice. Almost everyone enjoys lighting a candle and would be glad to receive a cute one as a thanks for attending your event.
Favor Packaging: If you need to add packaging to a candle, I would opt for a clear cellophane bag tied closed with a pretty wide striped ribbon that coordinates with your party theme, for a boutique feel.
4. Shower Steamers and Shower Caps
Anything that gives you the excuse to have a tag that says “from my shower to yours” is good in my book! I love the idea of giving a shower steamer and/or adorable shower cap as a favors at a bridal shower.
Favor Packaging: Uniquely shaped, these Kraft boxes with see-through window would be perfect to wrap the caps and/or the shower steamers. If it’s only the shower steamer, you may want to add tissue paper or crinkle paper to fill around the edges. Add a tag or thank you stamp, and voila!
5. Gourmet Sweets
Isn’t love sweet? Gourmet candy and cookies are a luxury for most. If your guests have a sweet tooth (and who doesn’t!?) and an eye for high-end treats, they will be happy to receive a small box of an extra special confection.
Packaging Ideas: Both of these options come just about gift ready. You may want to add a ribbon and tag that coordinates with your shower or sprinkle, and that’s it!
6. Plants
Plants are an elegant bridal shower favor that your guests will enjoy for months – maybe even years – to come. Whether you choose succulents, flower seeds, or saplings, this small token of gratitude will be appreciated.
Packaging Ideas: I would just add a bridal shower favor tag to the succulents and saplings. The flower seeds could go in a gold semi-clear gift box that comes complete with a ribbon. All you would need to do is add a tag!
7. Luxury Honey and Jam
If you’re looking for inexpensive bridal shower favors that still pack a big punch, consider gifting mini jars of luxury honey or jam. These sweet treats are both useful and thoughtful.
Packaging Ideas: I think either jar would be absolutely adorable packaged in a drawstring burlap gift bag. Add a favor tag (and maybe a mini wood honey dipper or spoon), and you can check favors off your to-do list!
8. Facial Mist or Pillow Sprays
Bridal shower planning is extra fun when you get to spoil your guests to a relaxing, spa-like treatment! Believe it or not, beautiful luxurious facial mist or pillow spray is not as expensive as you may think!
Packaging Ideas: Any of these favors would be adorable packaged in a rose gold favor box. While the box comes with closure sticker, I would maybe add a seal over the flap that coordinates with your shower theme.
9. Gourmet Coffee and Tea
I hate to admit it, but I pretty much run on coffee. And am fairly certain I’m not alone! Most people I know love (and need) their caffeine. That’s why it makes my list of top bridal shower favor ideas – and because the happy couple you’re celebrating really are the perfect blend to have and to hold, right!?
Packaging Ideas: For your “perfect blend” coffee favor, I suggest this super cool and modern personalized bag. If you choose tea, you could opt for a “love is brewing” personalized favor bag.
10. Trinket Dish
Small dishes are convenient to have around, especially on a nightstand, in a powder room, or by the kitchen sink. They make great party favors because they are so useful. For favors, I recommend picking one that is simple with wide appeal, and personalize the gift wrap it comes in.
Packaging Ideas: Boxes would be my go-to packaging choice for ring dish favors, especially if you choose one that is fragile. You can wrap them in cute tissue paper, place in a square gift box, and top with a pretty tied bow. To mix it up, your bow could be made of tulle instead of ribbon – as a little nod to the traditional bridal veil.
11. Pretty Lip Balm
Who doesn’t have lip balm in the bottom of every bag and in drawers around your home? Please say it’s not just me! And I especially love pretty lip balm. Your bridal shower guests may feel the same and really appreciate a nice new lip balm favor to add to their collection.
Packaging Ideas: Place your lip balm in a clear bag, and top with a custom favor tag. You could even add some crinkle paper to make it extra special.
12. Christmas Ornament
The favor given at my bridal shower was a heart-shaped Christmas ornament. The time of year was perfect for that gift, and I’ve always thought it was a cleaver idea! If you’re planning a shower in November or December, this could be an unexpected and different favor.
Packaging Ideas: Like with the ring dishes, boxes would be my go-to packaging choice for fragile ornaments. You can wrap them in printed tissue paper, place in a square gift box, and top with a pretty tied bow.
And there you have it! Twelve bridal shower favor ideas to help you thank your guests for coming to celebrate the soon-to-be newlyweds!
