A muted, rose gold Valentines Day aesthetic can be a refreshing alternative to some of the bolder, brighter options for the holiday. That is exactly what I chose to create this year’s Valentine’s Day tablescape. Perfect for your Galentine’s Day get together or Valentine’s Day brunch, you can use the inspiration from this vday aesthetic to create a similar vibe in your own home! Keep scrolling for all the sweet details. Oh, and don’t miss the free printable Valentine’s cards at the end of the post!

Valentines Day Aesthetic Tablescape
Tissue Paper Flowers Centerpiece
First, to get this muted tone Valentines Day aesthetic, you need a simple but effective centerpiece. Enter: tissue paper flowers.
While you CAN make these from scratch, you don’t HAVE to. Luckily, if you’re pressed for time (and who isn’t!?), you can buy them semi-made from Amazon. They come as a set – pre-cut, pre-folded, and pre-tied.
All you have to do is peel them open. While this certainly is a time saver, I will say that peeling them open took a minute. If you have older kids, this is something they could probably help you with (thankfully my girls love doing stuff like this with me!).
Once the tissue paper flowers are open, all that’s left to do is arrange your centerpiece. I chose seven flowers – one large, four medium, and two small. Working in odd numbers is almost always best because it’s more pleasing to the eye.
The largest flower anchored the middle. Then I grouped two medium and one small on either side, nestled together so it created a tapered effect. Depending on the length of your table, you may want to add more – or take some away. Just try a few arrangements and see what you like best!
Rose Gold Place Settings
Next up for this Valentines Day aesthetic table are the rose gold place settings.
To start, the rose gold flower place mats. Can we just take a moment to appreciate them? Because they are seriously so pretty – and seriously so affordable. Not only that, but they are a decent dupe for a much higher price point brand.
On top of the rose gold place mats, I used my trusty white dinner and salad plates. I will forever and always sing the praises of having white dishes. They are just so darn versatile! You can morph them to suite nearly any occasion.
Next, I tied a cream chiffon ribbon (similar) around a gold fork and spoon and placed the set on top of the salad plate. Since there was a lot going on with the placemat design, putting gold flatware in a traditional setting on either side of the plates would have both detracted from the floral design and gotten lost in it.
Then, an adorable “rosé all day” napkin was added to the top of each plate. These napkins are the perfect blush pink. And the words are actually foil printed in rose gold, which coordinates perfectly with the rose gold placemats.
Lastly, what goes perfectly with a rose gold Valentines Day aesthetic tablescape? Rosé, of course! I actually intended to serve bubbly rosé in these coupe glasses (here is a link to my new favorite coupe glasses from CB2 that would also look amazing on this tablescape). Not sure if you can tell it’s not?? But you get the idea, right? Bubbly or still, rosé ties in perfectly with the rest of the vday aesthetic we have going on here.
Dried Floral Arrangements
Now that the table is set, let’s turn our attention to the supporting features. Namely, dried florals. This is a pretty small detail in the overall scheme, but I argue it’s an important one to really drive home the boho vibe we have going on. Plus, they bring something natural into the otherwise unnatural decor.
Two ceramic vases hold the dried florals. In the taller one, a few stems of pampas grass fill in some of the wall space between the floor and balloon/flower wall installation. In the shorter one, an arrangement of a bunch of different dried florals adds texture and ties in the copper tones on the tissue paper flowers.
Afloral is my go-to for dried florals. Most of the pieces in this arrangement came from there, with the exception of the large dried palm and pampas grass.
Rose Gold and Blush Balloons
The last component of this Valentine’s aesthetic is balloons.
To start, the wall installation. Script “love” balloon in rose gold is the feature piece of the entire display. These balloons are easy to assemble yourself. They come with a small straw that inserts into a valve in the balloon so you can fill them without helium. Additionally, they have small tabs with holes in a few spots around the balloon so you can use string to secure it in place.
Around the love balloon, I taped a few tissue paper flowers to the wall (obviously, you’ll want to double check that the tape you’re using doesn’t damage your wall!). Originally, I wanted a large, dramatic cascade of tissue paper flowers. But ended up not having enough pieces. If you want to try that, you will likely need two sets of tissue paper flowers. However, in the end I’m happy with how this turned out!
The rest of the balloon kit (and tissue paper flowers) filled the bottom of the bar cart. I piled a couple traditional balloons and topped with rose gold heart balloons.
By the way, don’t you just love that textured, corn-husk heart garland!? It’s from Target’s 2022 Valentine’s Day collection and sold out, sadly. However, here is an alternative boho heart banner from Etsy that is SO cute and would also coordinate well with these decorations.
As a final touch, additional traditional balloons were scattered on the floor around the bar cart.
