Neutral Thanksgiving decor is not a new thing. The season lends itself to browns and creams. But it is fun to refresh your inventory of seasonal serveware and linens, right!?
I’m sharing with you what I bought recently at Target for Thanksgiving – and a few additional things yet on my “maybe” list.
In case you missed it, I shared some more details about which pieces I bought on Instagram stories. I tend to get more into detail about hauls on that channel. Hop over there and follow me (@hostessology) and join the party so you don’t miss the next one!

Neutral Thanksgiving Decor for Your Table
Gravy boat: Pass the gravy in style. This adorable neutral stoneware gravy boat will easily blend in with other serve ware pieces.
Thankful plate: Use this for a small appetizer – or for a plate of seasonal cookies or other sweet treats. (That’s exactly what I plan to do! My daughters have a tradition of making certain cookies for Thanksgiving. Can’t wait to share the recipe with you. Coming soon!)
Pumpkin dessert plates: Simple and understated, you could really get away with using these small plates all fall – not just in November. Perfect for pumpkin pie!
Gold Pie Server: For $5, this is a no brainer! You can use it year round – and not just for pies.
Pumpkin Bowl: If you can only choose one thing to buy from this post, make this it. I cannot believe what a great deal this is. It looks and feels MUCH more high end than the price point. A great dupe for similar pumpkin bowls at higher end stores.
Thankful Spatula: Whip up your world famous wouldn’t-be-Thanksgiving-without-it recipe with this adorable spatula. I can’t wait to do some holiday baking projects with my kiddos using it. Everything is more fun with a seasonal touch like this, right!?
Rattan Cheese Knives: These feel like the fall season version of the rattan cheese knives we saw this summer. The woven handles I think really lend themselves to a pre-feast appetizer, don’t you?
Brown Table Runner: Warm brown tones have made a big comeback. This table runner is embraces that trend, but is neutral enough to fit into a lot of different home styles. I plan to use it under our Thanksgiving coffee and dessert buffet.
Plaid Napkins: This plaid is perfection, especially the unexpected blue accent.
Oven Mitts: Anyone else use their oven mitts far beyond their prime? Mine were embarrassingly old and SO READY to be replaced. I snapped up this set in a copper color that is great for the fall season, but honestly works in my home pretty much all year.
