Luxury Christmas Table Linens
1. Gold Linen Napkins
It’s no secret I kind of love napkins. Like a lot. If you follow me on Instagram, you have seen me swoon over them many a time! An unexpected modern twist on holiday napkins is gold linen. This particular shade oozes lux. In addition, it will blend beautifully with other neutral tablescape elements.
2. Print Napkins
Prefer a print instead of solid? These modern holly print napkins are a good option. DII is one of my go-to brands for linens on Amazon. The quality has never disappointed.
3. Faux Fur Tablerunner
Fur and luxury go together like pampas grass and boho. Add a touch of faux fur to your Christmas table with this table runner. While there are many texture options when it comes to faux fur, I like the longer shag. If you prefer something trimmed a bit closer, this is a good option as well!
4. Velvet Table Runner
Understated it is not. This golden yellow velvet table runner is a show-stopping luxury Christmas table decoration. Like the product photos, I would recommend not pairing it with a tablecloth. Instead, let your pretty wood table stand out!
5. Bow Napkin Rings
Bows are the finishing touch to your holiday gift wrap. In addition, they can put a cherry on top of the napkin fold at your holiday table. There are a lot of versions of bow napkin rings out there, but I prefer the less whimsical shape and thickness of the metal on this set.
6. Gold Ribbed Napkin Ring
If bows aren’t your thing, these gold bubble napkin rings are an alternative to consider. The square shape and ribbed design looks very high end to me. Plus, they’re not seasonal. So, while they will assimilate beautifully into your Christmas place settings, you can use them year round!
7. Ribbon Napkin Ring
Instead of a metal or wood napkin ring, how about using ribbon instead? Chiffon is light and airy, and would be perfect tied around a napkin with a seasonal spray tucked under!
8. Tablecloth
This tablecloth has Christmas written all over it. Literally! While I’m not always a fan of “things that say things”, the font is modern, the palette is neutral, and the overall effect is a pattern. Therefore, this gets a pass and a thumbs up!
Christmas Place Settings
9. Light Blue Charger Plate
Soft blue and warm, matte gold make a winning wintery combo on a Christmas dining table. Pair it with a basic white plates, a pretty napkin, and an accent, such as an ornament or pinecone.
10. French-Inspired Charger Plates
You know that ornate gold Anthropologie mirror that is all over Instagram? These chargers remind me SO MUCH of it. You can add a Baroque fussy detail like this to a modern tablescape if you keep other things a little more quiet. For example, use simple plates and napkins – and let the charger do all the table talking!
11. Blush Stoneware Dining Set
Blush is an unexpected twist on red at the holidays. Retailers such as CB2 have featured blush holiday decor collections in years past. You can make the tone feel wintery by pairing with faux fur, pine tree accents, and winter florals. Then, in the spring, they’ll be just as nice on an Easter table with other pastels! I have the matte black version (which I blogged about here) and have been impressed with them so far!
12. Place Card Holders
I purchased these about a year ago, and have used them several times since. They have a small, understated profile (that kind of resembles a Christmas tree if you stretch your imagination!). My only complaint is that larger cards tend to fall over because they cannot support their height/weight. Otherwise, highly recommend! You can see them on this tropical dinner party post.
13. Dessert Plates
Tiny dessert plates are a small way to make a big impact on your table. These green ceramic dessert plates are the perfect size for bite-sized desserts. You can use them for appetizers too! I own and love these (as seen on my Mediterranean mezza grazing table post) and am looking forward to using them during the holiday season!
Modern Christmas Serveware
14. Marble Tiered Stand Set
Two-in-one, this is a versatile piece you’ll probably find yourself reaching for again and again. Use them together to unify something you’re serving, such as wine bottles and stemware. Or, use them separately to give height on a buffet.
15. Chic Salad Bowl
Who says neutral serveware has to be boring? Your salad bowl can be as interesting and delicious as the food in it. The gold brings in a festive, luxe touch that makes it feel like Christmas!
16. Coffee Spoon Holder
Seven swans a swimming, anyone!? How fun is this gold swan coffee spoon holder? Both Anthropologie and CB2 have featured similar bird decor recently. You can bring this to the table along with coffee and dessert – and let the conversation (and 12 Days of Christmas singing) begin!
17. Salad Servers
A nod to the woodsy winter wonderland, these salad servers would be absolutely perfect with the glass and gold salad bowl!
Luxury Christmas Table Decor Centerpieces
18. Mini Pine Trees
One of my favorite go-to centerpieces is putting a grouping of these mini bottle brush Christmas trees in a cloche or wide glass vase. In addition to a table centerpiece, this looks great on a coffee table too! To make it work as a centerpiece, you will likely need two or three sets in separate vessels. You can even add a bit of faux snow for extra effect!
19. Cloche
Cloche make beautiful decor, centerpieces included. There are so many options of what you can fill them with – mini Christmas trees, ornaments, bells, and battery-powered candles, for example. Really, the possibilities are endless!
20. Marble Cone Christmas Tree
Decorate your table with “of the moment” marble cone Christmas trees. This style has been on trend in recent years at higher end stores. I have seen them a ton of different material – leather, wood, glass, and, of course, marble. This is a great option from Amazon at a super affordable price point!
21. Garland
Use garland, but make it modern. This is such an easy centerpiece statement that fills a lot of space with minimal effort. To give it a modern edge, use faux garland like this that is more sparse.
22. Votive Candle Holders
Is there anything prettier than fluted glass? Pleated or ribbed decor is on trend, but it also has a timeless quality. I have these candle holders in the larger size, and am definitely planning to buy some of these smaller ones for the holidays! The glass is thick and it has a high end, luxury look and feel. My only regret? That I don’t own more! Ha!
23. Taper Candle Holders
You cannot go wrong with classically shaped taper candle holders. They’ll not only work at Christmas, but basically year round at any holiday or special occasion! This set of three matte black holders has a ton of positive ratings and is priced at just under $20. It also comes in a gold finish, if you prefer that instead! As a bonus, these ribbed blush taper candles would be incredible in the black holders.
24. Marble Vase
Besides poinsettia, we don’t often think of florals at Christmas time. However, florals can be seasonally appropriate, especially muted jewel tones or winter whites. So, don’t shy away from fresh flowers, especially if you have a vase like this one to display the bouquet!
25. Burgundy Silver Dollar Eucalyptus
Sticking with jewel tones, these burgundy silver dollar eucalyptus are a great way to use “real” stems without having to worry about wilting or looking obviously fake. Dried florals like these are a great option you can use to make your centerpiece arrangements ahead – no water required.
