This post will give you ideas and inspiration on bar cart decor and drinks to serve to celebrate the Feast of St. Patrick.
Bar Cart Decor
What St. Patrick’s Day bar cart would be complete without a shamrock plant? I found this one at my local grocery store, but you can also check florists or online. This is the adorable white ceramic vase I put my clovers in.
Next, add a cute framed saying. This one is available to download for free – HERE! This is the frame I used – they are a go-to for party signage in my house.
Prop your sign and shamrocks on an elevated marble stand to give a little height to your decor. Add a bottle opener, and a small bowl to hold discarded bottle caps.
On the bottom of your bar cart, use a tall vessel like this apothecary jar to display St. Patrick’s Day vase filler.
While this pot-of-gold isn’t at the end of a rainbow – it does hold several bottles of beer on ice. That’s pretty darn close to the end of a rainbow – in my opinion! A must for any St. Patrick’s Day bar cart.
Place seasonal napkins (similar) in a gold accented napkin holder – to wrap around bottles or place under glassware.
Lastly, sprinkle gold circle confetti around the bar cart – for a wee bit of sparkle and shine!
What Drinks to Serve on St Patrick’s Day
The beverage menu for this St. Patrick’s Day bar cart is fairly simple – beer and whisky on the rocks.
I went with two different Irish beer labels – Harp & Guinness. For the whisky – again an Irish label – Jameson.
I served the whisky on the rocks with a slice of clementine. And with that – I think we’re ready to celebrate!
I hope this post gave you a few ideas to pull together a simple St. Patricks Day bar cart. If you like this post, please check out my other St. Patrick’s Day content over in the holidays section of this site.
